Combine Amsterdam Crackle medium with Universal Satin paint by applying it over a layer of dried Universal Satin paint. Once dry, paint over it with a layer of Amsterdam Universal paint, when the paint start to dry it will start crackling. By thinning the last coat of Amsterdam Universal Satin paint with water the crackle effect becomes less. Never use the colors silver, gold, antique gold and copper as top coat.
