SIO-2 Black high temperature Grogged bodies are designed for artistic ceramic works. These bodies contain 40% grog (1-3mm). Its high plasticity produces optimum properties for modelling
and is widely used for murals and sculpture. When fired (1200-1260*C) in an oxidising atmosphere it produces a beautiful and intense black. In a reducing atmosphere, metallic effects with shades of blue are obtained.
